Booking a photographer is about more than just showing up and smiling for the camera. My goal is to make the entire experience easy, enjoyable, and stress-free—from your first inquiry to the moment your final gallery lands in your inbox. Here's exactly what you can expect when you book with me.
Step 1: Send an Inquiry
The first step is filling out my inquiry form. Tell me a little about yourself, the type of session you're looking for, your preferred date, and any ideas you already have. The more I know, the better I can help bring your vision to life!
Within a couple of days, I'll get back to you to chat about availability, answer any questions, and make sure we're the perfect fit.
Step 2: Secure Your Date
Once we've confirmed the details, I'll send over your contract and invoice. A 25% non-refundable retainer officially reserves your date on my calendar, with the remaining balance due before your session.
After your contract is signed and your retainer is paid, you're officially booked!
Step 3: Planning Your Dream Session
This is where the fun begins.
You'll receive a planning questionnaire so I can learn more about your vision, personality, and the overall feel you're hoping for. Whether you're dreaming of mountain views, a lakeside session, or somewhere completely unique, I'll help you choose the perfect location.
I'll also send my Location Guide, filled with some of my favorite spots, along with an Outfit Guide full of tips to help you coordinate outfits, choose colors that photograph beautifully, and feel confident in front of the camera.
Every session is personalized because no two stories are the same.
Step 4: Session Day
Don't worry if you've never been professionally photographed before—you definitely don't need to know how to pose.
Throughout your session, I'll guide you with natural prompts and gentle direction so you never have to wonder what to do with your hands or where to look. My goal is to create genuine moments that feel like you, not stiff or overly posed photos.
We'll laugh, move around, and have fun together while creating images you'll treasure for years.
Step 5: Gallery Delivery
After your session, I'll carefully cull and hand-edit every image to match my signature style.
Your final online gallery will be delivered within two weeks of your session. From there, you'll be able to download your high-resolution images, share them with family and friends, and relive your favorite moments whenever you want.
